FISH
FARMING |
The
system
for
bream
and
bass
breeding
is
located
about
one
kilometre
far
from
the
coast
of
Villafranca
Tirrena,
in
an
area
crossed
from
constants
submarine
streams
that
always
maintain
waters
cleaned.
Its
constituted
from
6
submersible
cages,
each
one
with
a
volume
of
2500
cube
meters,
that
can
be
maintained
at
the
more
appropriate
depth
regarding
the
sea
conditions.
Juveniles
are
put,
at a
weight
of
6-15
grams,
in a
prefattening
net,
that
will
be
replaced
with
a
fattening
net,
with
a
bigger
volume.
Fishes
are
daily
fed
by
apposite
boats
and,
at
the
end
of
the
cycle,
they
are
fished
by a
net
called
cianciolo.
After
fishing,
they
are
shipped
in
isothermic
containers
filled
with
ice
and
water
and
in a
few
minutes
they
arrive
to
the
fishery.
